The Pharmacy Quality Assurance Commission (PQAC) filed a rules proposal package (CR-102) under WSR 26-22-025, which proposes to amend WAC 246-945-165 to adopt commission-approved examinations for pharmacist applicants and amend the commission’s process for authorization of an additional examination, following three examination failures as authorized by RCW 18.64.080(2). The Commission will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule on December 17, 2026, during its regularly scheduled business meeting. Comments can be submitted by December 3, 2026, to the DOH Rules Comment webpage or sent to Julia Katz-Ukropina, Program Consultant, at PharmacyRules@doh.wa.gov.
