Pursuant to passage SB 1538 of 2023, DMAS (Department of Medical Assistance Services) is building and implementing a pharmacy payment for services claims they have dubbed “PAP” (Pharmacists as Providers) system. Tomorrow they will publish a new Supplement to the Pharmacy and Practitioner Manuals adding billing instructions for the new system. Please review the Supplement and share your comments with Jill McCormack as soon as possible. Comments are due to DMAS on November 30.
