The General Assembly approved a state budget bill last week that included funding and basic policy language requiring Medicaid health plans to hire a Single PBM to administer the pharmacy benefit. The budget now goes to the Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) for consideration.
Also in Michigan, Medicaid asked us to share their consultation summary, which contains various links and background information that may assist pharmacies with enrollment and billing for test and treat services.
