The General Assembly passed the Conference Committee Report on HB 30, the State Budget, this week and sent it to Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) for consideration. The budget contains language, proffered by the Virginia Association of Chain Drug Stores (VACDS) and NACDS, to temporarily permit pharmacies to use new FDA-approved formulations of the flu and COVID vaccines in 2026, regardless of ACIP recommendations.
